2011 Consulting Rosarian Seminar
School re-scheduled for March 4-5
Letter from the Consulting Rosarian Director
Dear Chapter Presidents,
This is to advise you that ARS has approved a CR School, to be hosted by the Red River Rose Society, on [March] 4 – 5, 2011.
The school will be held at the La Quinta Hotel in Sherman, TX. Additional details, including the Registration Form, will be furnished at a later date.
This school will be suited to qualify new CR Candidates, as well as provide the CR credits for current CRs to retain their active status. We have quite a few current CRs who need to audit an approved school to retain their active status, including some who should have audited in 2009, plus some who needed to audit in 2010, and some who will need to audit in 2011.
I will endeavor to communicate personally with those whose credits expire (ed) in 2009 or 2010. However, I would certainly appreciate your encouraging anyone who needs to audit a school to plan to attend this school.
ARS officials are becoming more stringent on enforcing the ARS rules, and those not current will be in jeopardy of being dropped from the active CR rolls. Our objective is to retain all currently active CRs, and to persuade other qualified members to become CRs. Your assistance in achieving this objective would be greatly appreciated.
The Red River Rose Society members are enthusiastically hosting this CR School. The agenda is attached for your information. Please publicize this school within your Chapter. This long lead-time should preclude any conflicts in scheduling. Being centrally located within the District, I am hopeful that we will draw attendees from all states and all areas of our District.
(In case you have noted, this is scheduled on “Super Bowl Weekend”, which will be at Cowboy Stadium. Other options were explored. However, since the school events are on Friday and Saturday, that in itself should not be a major handicap.)
Thank you for your help in this project.
Sincerely,
Ed Bradley
Director, CRs
